scenic routes?

Anyone if there are nice things to see between TN and Wash DC? I am planning a drive for this summer. Are there any mountainous roads, nice views etc? Or should I just drive it through straight to DC?

My suggestion ... if you haven't done it before, drive along Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
