Default scotch drinkers

Okay, I recently heard from someone that they had a special barrel of scotch reserved for them. They said they flew out to scotland to reserve a barrel for their family. I'm a big scotch lover, and would like to do the sam thing. At the time I knew that this person wasn't extremely rich or anything. The sad part is, I can't remeber who it was now, so I can get more information from them.

If any of you are into scotch, and might have some information on how to go about doing something like that, I'd appreciate it.

there's a 1-page article about this in the latest issue of "better life". It's like men's health magazine, but for older people.

I LOVE scotch...but if you have to go to Scotland, then it's not cheap. The airfare would be outrageous.

true, I wouldn't fly out just for that, but would be a good excuse to visit Europe. Scotland seems to be a beautiful country from the pictures I've seen. Maybe I can do a BMW European delivery, and head up for a few days.

I did some readings and found that there are a lot of scams involving investments in scotch casks. I guess you'd have to be referred by someone to find the right place.

I, too, appreciate scotch from time to time.

I have a nice selection of scotch, many with different levels of smokiness, but it's hard to go wrong with a nice 18 year old glenlivet.

one I've never heard of. Is it sold here in United States? I will try it, even if I have to import it.

Better be good!

Yeah, it's available in the US. Can be found at you better liquour stores. If not, order it online...runs ~ $80/btl.

Has a fantastic, smokey/peaty finish...verrrrry smooth.
