Default Scott Peterson: Guilty or not?

Yes, I know the trial hasn't started and evidence haven't been presented, just curious on public opinions so far.

No comment until I've seen the evidence... I think the news media has already labeled him as quilty in this sad case. So far, there has been no concrete evidence to support quilt or innocence.

Just from what we know through the media though, I think the following circumstances are odd:

1. The distance from where the bodies were found to where he claimed he was.

2. The bleached hair and the beard - his family said it's from swimming? Was he swimming in bleach?

3. $10,000 cash found with him.

4. His brother's ID.

Of course these are all circumstancial and would not be admissible, but just seem very odd.

To add to that Mingster, he took out a $250K life insurance policy on Laci Peterson when she became pregnant. Also the fact that he cheated on her doesn't help his cause in public opinion.

He certainly is guilty of some weird behavior befitting someone who LOOKS guilty.

But think about it, what if forbid you WERE innocent and the media already had you hung like him! What would you do?

Apparently he took the life insurance on himself and Laci when she got pregnant. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence. Circumstances has put a lot of innocent people in jeapordy or jail. The justice system is not perfect (see: O.J. Simpson) but I think let the trial go and do it's thing.

Let's not forget that he had an affair and lied about it. Then, after the affair was verified, he said he had told his wife and they were working through it but her friends have all said she would have told them and she didn't, suggesting that she didn't know......
