I bought some tickets online, not knowing they were not open. I called them and requested a refund and they said it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles for it to show up!!!! WTF? Am I able to just dispute the charges thru the CC company?

 

I don't know if it's worth disputing the charges if you're getting a refund back anyway (just that you'll have to wait a little longer), but how could you buy tickets without checking to see if they were open? (just curious)

 

At least they are giving you a refund. It seems like this is your fault to me.

BTW, if you are going before new years i have 2 tickets i can sell you CHEAP!

 

I do agree that it's my fault for not checking if they're open and I'm lucky it's refundable, but would there be any reason why it would take SO long for a credit to be issued?
So I'm just kind of stuck with no recourse other than waiting?
I just assumed they'd be open on Veterans Day, but I guess not. Or rather I didn't even think they wouldn't be open.

 

Some times it's an accounting thing. I was serious though about the 2 tickets I have.

 

Sometimes they say 1-2 billing cycles, but it appears sooner. It's just to cover their behinds and keep the rabid people down.
