i think getting a m3 was a mistake. driving is no longer fun..

I'm thinking now to sell the m3 and buya s2k again along with an evo w the money.

Wise decision?

 

I sold my E36 M3 last week...nice car...probably handled better than the S and of course the torque was nice but it just wasn't as much fun to drive...so, I would say it could be a wise choice if you want to put some more fun into your driving.

 

I guess it depends what your priorities are... if you don't care about looks (subjective, IMO the Evo looks like horrible), quality or luxury, just performance then the Evo is the right car for you. If I was in your shoes I would look at the STi instead, an S2000/STi garage would be nice.

 

IMO the Evo in terms of body style looks much better than the STI/WRX. One of my factors in deciding cars was exterior looks and the bug eyes didn't do it for me.

I would disagree with the Quality aspect, both cars have a ton of aftermarket (MOMO, Recaro, Brembo, etc.) parts and I don't think you can just quality in terms of durability with cars that have only been here less than two years.

I do agree with the STI's interior being more refined but I think all the negativity around the Evo's interior are a little harsh....it's no Lexus, Mercedes...but it's also no Topaz, Tercel...

Both cars have their advantages/disdvantages, I think an S2K/STI or S2K/Evo garage would be a garage that you couldn't go wrong with.

 

I'm thinking 02-03 Vortec SC s2k / and 03 Evo.

I actually like the looks of the STI better than EVO but there seem to be more reliable EVO mods out compared to those for the STI.

Plus the EVO has that go-cart like handling like the s2k

 

Seems like youre getting two cars that fill similar gaps. If you get another S try getting something the opposite of the S that you can still mod like an Xterra, plus you can use it to tow the S to the track

well the s2k will be the fun car i sink money into for all kinds of mods etc. kept nice and clean. not a everday car.

the evo will be my bitch. it'll be the everyday car with bpu mods. run it through the car wash to keep it clean. drive it around the city without worry that someone will steal it, type of car. The evo depreciates fast, so i want to get used.
