My friends and I have a theory that many women who are "crazy into" CATS and/or WEAVING/KNITTING are somehow compensating for their lack of success with men. This is based on what we've experienced.

We have no logical idea why we believe this way, nor do we care if you flame us for our lack of evidence to this fact.

Why would you think this is true/not true, or what other things are representative of repressed females?

Just wondering....no offense to cat or knitting lovers...it's just a weird theory...

 

What about those of us women that have cats and are married? Sounds like you're thinking of older women that live alone with 100 cats and knit them all little sweaters

 

And then the authorities come along 5 years later, find the old lady dead in her rocker and cat crap a foot and a half deep throughout the house.

I have a cat and love her, but it doesn't mean I'm repressed or psychotic.

Yep, stupid theory for sure, unless you're talking about crazy, extreme obsession. Any type of crazy obsession is not psychologically sane.

I hate cats. We do have 2 dogs and a Cockatoo though. BTW I am married and the animals are technically my husbands.
