I'm really happy to announce that I have finally finished my first full length album.
I spent months ( not straight, but that would have been nice )writing and recording it, it was a labour of love, but it's nice to see it finished.

My style changes from month to month, but this album is fairly subdued compared to the rockier stuff I usually write.

Good stuff. Reminds me of Weezer...doesn't hurt that the vocalist sounds like Rivers Cuomo.

Do you guys ever venture down to the Buffalo/Rochester area?

I must admit I'm a huge fan of weezer, and I would have liked to think I was influenced by them, but I've never heard anything of them in what I write. And no way did I think I sounded like Rivers, but I'll take that as a compliment. Maybe it's there more then I think it is.

We're playing locally for now, it's tough when everyone works their asses off at thier day jobs, but we were talking about a big push this summer, we would like to hit a few US spots.

 

Eh, it's just what popped into my mind when I was listening. I think some of the chord structures/melodies reminded me of a few of their tracks and occasionally you delivered lyrics similarly. That's the best analysis I can do without having my Weezer albums here to compare to and see if I'm the one going crazy!

I do like the music, so take it as a compliment! It doesn't sound close enough to say you were ripping them off or anything, just reminded me of them.

 

That's cool, like I said, I don't see it, but I didn't think you were saying I was a bad Weezer coverband
