A letter from the Porat Family:
Dear Friends,
Sherwin Porat, our beloved son, passed away on Thursday December 15, 2005. Sherwin was a loving son, a caring brother, a funny & humorous uncle, and a true friend. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
Sherwin deeply appreciated all the love and the support he was getting throughout his battle with leukemia. The emails, the phone calls, the letters, the volunteers, the donors, the Doctors, & the nurses all made his journey so much easier.
Sherwin loved life and he embraced it with energy.
Please join us in our farewell to our beloved Sherwin.
The funeral will be held on:
Wednesday December 21, 2005 at 2p.m.
Eden Memorial Park
11500 Sepulveda Blvd.
Mission Hills, CA 91345

Tuesday December 27, 2005 from 6-8p.m.

My sadness at the loss of a young and obviously wonderful person is overwhelming. All my best wishes and sincere sympathies to his friends and family.
