shitty public school

I am active in LD debate at my school and have been doing pretty well this season garnering 28 "state" points (8 are nessecary to qualify for the state competition).
From my school one CX team and I were the only people to qualify. I am the first person from my school to qual in LD in several years (as far back as i can find out because coaches change often) and the CX team has qualled the last four years running. Basically what it comes down to is we are the only representatives of academic competition at my school, an area in which our school drastically lacks.
Enough background, about a month ago we started making plans for state. Then 2 weeks ago we reserved the hotel, rental car, etc. The only thing we were waiting for were airline tickets, which we had been promised since the beginning of the year from the board, principle, etc.
Now they kept making empty promises, ("tomorrow", "next monday", "by wensday") but then today they simply refused. No-questions-asked said they wont pay. So just pay for it myself you say? That is impossible, because, to go to state you have to be affiliated with the school and must have the coach present: something that is not economically viable.
Thats my story and that is why I cannot attend State.

"Resolved: that the freaking Public schools of Texas should freaking pay for something that hardworking students freaking deserve and worked their butts off for."

16 hour drive....and even then, hotel/rental/gas.
actually the UIL district resolution is "equalization of funding for texas public schools is desirable" heh...so kind of close....but UIL sucks anyways so its not impotent.

Read the cliff notes; they are very straightforward; however, you may want to re-evaluate your comprehension skills if you cannot follow.
It is obvious that my debates would be more organized due to the nessecary formality, though I am not sure why you would "hope" anything for me, nor even care enough to type this out, unless it was to attempt to gain some sort of higher-ground or dignity after the "legalize drug" and "iraq" fiasco.
