I would say Gimik, and that if its capable of all that stuff, i would think it would be heavier than the normal running shoe, and also what about protection against the elements? I know they probably protected it well but i'm sure someone can easily accidently ruin that chip or whatever.

I did an esay on this shoe last year when it was in developement. I can't remember all the details but Adidas brought in alot of heavy hitters to help on the project. The device is not very heavy and does not really do anything to the shoes weight plus the sensors update 10k times a second to control shock resistance, I think it is pretty damn cool

Got the last pair in AZ yesterday. Went for a short jog (lungs still trying to recuperate from a decade of smoking), very cool stuff. The strangest moment so far has been walking from the family room (carpet) to the hallway (tile) and hearing/feeling the shoes adapt.
