Should I admit I have no clue?
Ok, I get an e-mail from this guy who has a startup company putting together some aviation scheduling/reservations/dispatching type software, he saw my resume online and asked me if I was interested in doing some consulting work for him. So I read what he had to say, and told him he's got my attention, and I was interested. So I talk to him on the phone for a while about his buisness and so on and so forth. I guess he liked what I had to say, because well, he's still talking to me.
But here's where I'm stumped.....I really don't think I know what I'm doing. I think I'm way in over my head on this. What should I do? He's the one that contacted me, and I never lied about my abilities to him, he saw my full resume. So should I just play along, make a few bucks hopefully, and let him figure it out (or maybe even supprise myself and do well at it), or should I just fess up, and let him know I'm completely lost?
Let me know what you think.

And yes, it is a legit venture, he will be paying me, I will not be investing any of my own money into this.
The only software consulting I've ever done was when the company I work for overhauld their entire system, and we got the chance to work with the programmers to get things the way we wanted to.
