ok most of yall are probably wondering whats the difference...at one time they were compleatly different but now are used interchangebly....but im going back to the root of the words.

spa-its the one that most people think of with all the massaging jets and theraputic type shit with a lounge chair and other seats for other people(has lots of jets...round about 30+ at times)

hot tub-generally its just round and has fewer jets (sometimes only 4-6) has just regualr seats, usually what ya see at a hotel and all.

NOW FOR THE USE OF IT

This will be put in this patio room that connect to our living room. This is gonna be used by a bunch of college kids ya gotta remember. The picture I have in mind is a bunch of us college kids throwing keg parties and random shit for our lsu football games and all that shit. So of course a spa would be nicer and better to jump in after rugby practice but ive got a jacuzi bath in my bathroom upstairs. A hot tub would well be hot obviously and I can see getting more people in it and the ladies of course....im just thinking that cause of the way the seats are and all in a spa it would be harder for people to just hang out in there ya know...

so whats yall opinion and experience with all this and all...

So basically your decision is whether or not you want a bunch of jets and more comfortable seats? I say go with the spa if their about the same price. If not, then go with whichever one is cheaper since it's a college thing. I'd hate to dish out some serious money on a spa and wake up after a party to find condoms and beer cans floating around in it with cigarette burns along the edges.

 

yeah and with a hot tub you got the seat going all the way around and as my friend john just said....when you got a girl sittin on your lap you dont want 34 jets spraying you in the ass

spa because you can have it inside the house easier. Makes good for romantic evenings... hottubs require too much getting in and out of
