Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Should we string him up by his thumbs, or what?

It's always more than 50 miles to the gas station for all ofs. Just like it's morethan 50 miles to go to the grocery store

When my wife hung up the phone her first comment was, "I hope he remembered that it takes premium."

As I wrote earlier, the biggest concern was getting it in and out of the garage without a scratch. He's a careful driver, and more skilled than he thinks.

I think we'll settle on a simple "Don't do it again."

Although I do like the "buying gas for all the cars for a week" idea!

Thanks again.

ROFLMAO

I have to admit, my wife bust me everytime on this.

wife: Rowland would you please run down the store and pick up these few things (grocier list ) from the store.

me: Yes, dear!

Then when I do not return after an hour or two she looks to see what car is missing. If is the S2000 then it is perfectly clear to her what is happening. I did not go to the store.

It is good thing I connected the cable to the dog house.

Well...lemme tell you what happened to me...

When I was 16...my parents left for the entire day for a soccer thing...my mom just got a brand new Grand Prix GTP...and I was tempted to take it...after much consideration...I took it! Went out all day with it...brought it back...washed it...and stuck it in the garage...

Well...my parents came home...first thing they said was...the car is parked crooked...did you take it out!?? I told them no...that i just moved it and washed it...they said alright...cuz water was still on the driveway...

later that night...my dad gets a phone call...he walks into my room...and asks me if I had taken the car out today. I told him no...i drove it in the driveway...cleaned it...and backed it up. He asked me again..r u sure...I said the same thing...!

WACK...smacked me...took my licence for 2 months...and that was that...never thought of doing it again...

But...I was 16..he's 18..if my kid ever takes my baby...he's going oversees...
