Scot: I don't think that pic is backwards. When she works she switches her ring sometimes. Russian culture the ring can be on the right finger also but she primarily wears it on her left.

She moved here when she was 4. Shes pretty americanized but speaks perfect Russian with a Russian accent and perfect english with no accent. Its really amazing.
