well...our gym showers usually have curtains...but once we're out of the shower it's pretty much nekkedness til we get dressed. a lot of girls use those air dryers to dry off, too.

Not a problem with me. It's only queer if you make it queer.

The wacko nuns instilled such false modesty that I was Junior or senior in high school before I was able to change in a locker room. In college, the expectation was that you changed and showered before going to class after gym. By the time I started running road races in the late 70's, I was changing wherever I needed to, which included a CrX-Si, as were other runners. Same with health clubs. You take off your sweaty clothes, get under the shower, wash, dry off and get dressed.
What's the problem?

So you don't mind doing it, or you just don't think about it while you're doing it, or you don't remotely enjoy doing it?

I can do just about anything that I have to but that doesn't mean I enjoy it or am even neutral toward it.

Given the choice, I'll take a private shower every time.

I would think that most people would like a private shower too. But most of the time when people are taking group showers, it's the only option. I would hope that most people would prefer to take a group shower as opposed to not taking one at all.

one point brought up was that you know the other guys are checking u out, albeit non-sexually, even if u dont admit it.

seriously though, it's the opposite of fun talkin about nekked guys. wouldn't blame the mod for closin the thread.

weird, I just got into this debate with my hockey team last week as well.

General consensus is that it's a fact of life thing, especially if you choose to be on a sports team. Someone said you know the other guys are checking you out, albeit nonsexually....I always assumed the urinal rule was in effect: NO EYEING EACH OTHER'S JUNK! [at least not obviously].

So where are those female shower stories that were gonna save this thread again....

i bet if you ask this in the europe thread nobody would have a problem doing it, its because nudity is considered a big deal in the US that makes people feel uncomfortable.
