Shredder deal at Staples.com!!
mingster, am I missing something? I click on the link and it says it's $39.99. is there a coupon code or something we need to type in? or do the rebates come in the package with the shredder? the site doesn't mention any rebates that I can see.

BTW, if you're looking for some heavy duty shredder, Staples will soon be carrying the Identity Guard brand shredders (no more Xerox, woohoo!), one of which will shred 24 hours a day, no overheating!
Support Mingster, buy Xerox shredders (phasing out at Staples) or Identity Guard shredders. Everything else is no good, and you know I'll stand behind my products. We have 24/7 tech support for shredders (industry first), and most shredders (not all) that we sell at Staples I can get you warranty replacements directly from my warehouse if it breaks. Some shredders however (like the super cheapy ones) you'll need to just throw away because they're made to last about a year of light usage. In fact, all cheapo shredders at Target, Wal-Mart, Office Max, Office Depot, and Staples are like that.
Just remember that you get what you pay for, even in shredders!
Hey Mingster, do you know anything about the history of the paper shredder?
I once met a fat drunk man in a bar who claimed to be the son of the man who invented the paper shredder (or something like that). He said that he didn't have to work because of it, and owned the "gentleman's" club next door to the bar. I called him a bs'er, so he took my friends and I next door, introduced us to all the girls, and drove away in his pimped S500. . . so maybe he was telling the truth? This all took place on Long Island, NY.
Side note:
He was also the sketchiest person I've ever had the misfortune of sitting next to in a bar. The story goes that he pulled the same thing with another group of guys and actually brought them back to his mansion for drinks and "private" dances from some of the girls from the club. Apparently he wanted to take pictures of them dancing with the girls??? I guess it didn't fly, because all the guys claim to have left immediately. Weird.
