Yeah, they're clean cars. Bringing a car from Canada to the US isn't tough

IF IF IF IF IF

the car is already legalized in the US. The Skyline is not. Like I said earlier, the best bet is to gray market it, get land or a PO box in Canada and register it there and drive it in the US. It's mostly legal, but could cause some headaches.

The simple answer is that you aren't going to get a Skyline legalized (easily) in the US now that Motorex is shut down.

Depends on the company. I know some are fine with it. Your results may vary.

i don't think the USA has added them to the list unless they go through a registred Importer, which is what Motorex was doing.

The USA has the 25 year rule (instead of 15 in canada).

Somehow people claim to have Evo VI and VII that are legal although I kind of doubt they are legal..... i would guess the same with they skylines unless they have gone through Motorex.

what about just getting one in canada, driving over to the us, finding a 240 or sumthin from a junkyard, taking the VIN from it, and using that to register the Silvia or skyline or whatever, along with getting insurance????

not legal, but could work, no??? especially in states like mine, where you dont have to pass emissions??

You could also mod it to 900hp and just run from cops if they ever see you. Print out your own license plate. It'll be like the Fast and the Furious or something.

Seriously though, playing with VINs could land you some serious consequences.

on the real...i think thats what a lot of people do nowadays....as nobody can have a 100% street legal skyline if it didnt come from Motorex

its funny u say that cause i have thought of doing that too...hahahah....but dont get into a car accident or sell the car cause u would b in some serious trouble..hahahahahaha
