Clark first revealed his abilities to Lana before but then she got killed and clark changed time which resulted in john kent dying. Lana ends up discovering that clark has powers when she saw him in the wine cellar. Then when Lex stabbed clark with the knife of some soft while clark was under the influence of the red kryptonite, lana ganked the knife and kept digging deeper. When lana was about to call off the wedding, lionel warns her that he will kill clark which gives her no choice to marrk lex. Then after lana faking her death and all that good stuff, she visits clark and tells her that she knew when she saw him in the wine cellar. So pretty much he did tell her, then he didnt, and she eventually found out on her own.

go to kryptonsite.com. they have a breakdown of all the episodes.

believe me, it never happened. The show is very fast paced now, so things tend to transition very quickly.

Ishbu, Clark thought Lana died, until she walks into the barn, just in last week's episode. I saw that one. And she never told him she saw him in the wine cellar. (that I heard) You're right about the rest though, she was figuring it out with all that was happening, especially with the knife or tool Clark was stabbed with. But I (and Amit) maintain we haven't seen a frank discussion between them, like "I'm from Krypton" blah blah blah. Am I wrong here?

edit: that Kryptonsite was one of the places I searched for an answer before I posted. I saw one reference to the truth coming out, and it was "now that Lana knows" but that was the only reference.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but to answer the question: Clark and Lana do have a brief talk, not really a discussion, in either the second to last or last episode of season 6. Lana goes to Clark in the barn and says shes leaving or whatever and starts walking away then Clark superspeeds in-front of her and tells her he's an alien from Krypton and then she kisses him or something. But you are correct in that there hasn't been any major discussion about it that we've seen.

OK, thanks. I might have missed the second to last episode last season. Now I know what to rent. Still sounds like the writers let down the fans. They could have made the truth coming out very interesting. They certainly disappointed this one.
Thanks for all the replies.

Yea it certainly is disappointing that the writers avoided something like that because it's been such a key conflict in the show, and now after 6 seasons of Lana trying to figure it out and Clark coming up with every reason in the book not to tell her, you'd think they'd have done a more detailed scene in season 7 where Clark explains everything. Another writer thing that bugs me is the direction they seem to be taking with Lana...

Yeah, she's lying to Clark, something she ragged on him about constantly. So is he ever going to kick her ass out and go after Lois, like the original Clark does?
And I always wondered, if he ever has sex with Lana/Lois, at the point of climax, woudn't he kill her? I mean it would have to be like a bullet up the you-know-what. Look what happens when he sneezes.

Clark has used his powers in front of Lana before... like when Lana was making breakfast and she was out of jelly or something. Clark used his super speed and bought the jelly from the store.

I don't buy smallville DVDs. I just record the episodes on my DVR.

I guess he learns how to control it
