LONDON -- Having trouble picking out a movie when you go to the video rental store?
If so, maybe your nose can help.
A chain of British video stores said it's using aromatherapy to help customers choose movies.
The idea is that different scents would summon up different kinds of movies.
For example, there's a faint smell of gunpowder for action films or the scent of roses for romance. And for comedies -- the smell of bananas.
Vanilla is being used to entice customers to buy a snack.
The scents are contained in a capsule fitted in air conditioning units.
Blockbuster Video is testing the idea in London and two other cities.
Good thing they don't rent porno.
