went for a little hike today heard some rustling in the grass only to look down and see this giant thing.
i was in the sierra nevada mountains.

Well it does not look venomous. Looks like a yellow rat snake.

pretty sure its not a yellow rat snake, found in the southern united states, florida and georgia.

That is a great site, I use it myself. FWIW, the cali snakes are easy.
