You may have heard that Chicago is being pelted with snow right now. There has to be a good 10 inches on the ground now...but I'm no meterologist. I went out and took some pics...the snow is perfect for snowballs! Which reminds me, that's how the difference between Mister and Misses Snowman...snowballs!

Hehe... It's great. I've already pulled two people out of ditches with my F-150. I love 4wd. My pickup handles like a rally car in this stuff. I'll waste a whole tank of gas driving around in this tonight! Time to go play in the snow!!

 

I called a friend up on her cell phone to join me for lunch. She's still stranded in Chicago. The airports were closed, possibly till tomorrow. She's enjoying the heck out of it! We don't see much snow in these parts!

 

Hopefully she's not stranded in the airport, that's no fun!

Winter track day at Gingerman? I'm there. Juliann has a 225hp TT quattro. Brad's got a Eclipse GSX and my roomate has an A4 quattro. All three ride on Blizzaks for the winter.

We're going Ice Racing also... on a lake up in Wisconsin. You simply can't have more fun in a car. 95mph, 3rd gear, dirt track sideways on a frozen glare ice lakebed. Awesome stuff. I'll keep you posted on the schedule, you keep me posted on Gingerman!
