really? well.. i guess that is cause you didn't really know her? this girl.. she is cool. i enjoy hanging out with her when we get the chance. i'm actually taking her to a BSB concert tonight. all her friends like me and i enjoy hanging out with them kids... the only thing is i always treat them like daughters. i yell at them, or say things that i hear my parents saying to me. She knows i don't want to go, and want me to go ahead and reject her now, the problem is that i know it is her senior year and she should go to prom, and if i don't go, she's going to miss out...

oh the trouble i get myself into.

This topic definitely deserves its own thread.

i cannot believe you are still even contemplating this. you need to tell her "no" and that be the end of it. i dont care who it is. this is too young. and you are too old for her. unless you are some sort of creepy, lonely, child stalker i dont understand why you are defending going so much.

Prom costs more than $40. . . between the cost of the prom and the cost of a decent lawyer, it's a lousy ROI, IMHO.

On the other hand, you've made up your mind regardless of what anyone here says for or against.

laywer? as long as you don't mess up and treat the girl with respect you are fine. just don't do anything to piss a younger girl off and worry less.

funny thing.. i know this girl who's 17.. and she wants me to take her to her senior prom cause she doesn't want to go with anyone else... i'm 28... i don't know if i should or not.
This is too funny!

You don't know if you should go? A 28 yr-old escorting a 17 yr-old little girl to a dance? I don't know much about reality, but I think it'd look a little out-of-place. Not to mention the morality aspect of it, besides the looks.
