do they ever open the same roads to cars? i would bet cars are faster just due to corning grip.

More like, can you imagine the road rash on the MUTHA@#$@&?
that is some insane speed on a two-lane road.

this race would never happen here in the states, hell the AMA series doesn't even run in the rain.
