He said $5K for the wedding, not the ring...if he clarifies, I'll post how much my ring cost for a 1.3 carat back in 2000 if you are interested in how much they cost (I'm divorced now, so doesn't matter anyway) ...

What will you do with that big ol' diamond now? I'm in the process of divorce and have been wondering what I'll do with the two rings.

The Ring was a bit more than 5K - Tiffany. The other 5K was to help out here parents with some of the wedding cost (Lord they are just ridiculous)

Regarding the ring, while it was a bit on the expensive side, it is darn nice. Solid platinum with a very fiery stone.

Oh boy...did she give them back to you? That's unusual.

I've seen women wearing the diamond band on the right hand. I'm not comfortable with that...I'll probably take both rings to a jewelry designer and have a neat platinum/diamond pendant made out of the stones...someday...
