My Armani and Pradas are my favorites. Daily wear usually consists of Tommy Bahama, Cole Haan, Ralph Lauren, or Hugo Boss.

My GF is obsessed with Louis Vuitton, Coach, and Burberry.

What is it with women and their obssession with Louis Vuitton?

I am talking their leather goods, not their clothes. They are just brown leather bags with LV written all over them.

Same goes with Burberry and Coach - sorry Spanky

They talk about the 'classic style' or that they 'never go out of fashion', etc. But really??? Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's anything wrong with spending big bucks if you get what you paid for.

What do you guys think?

Anyway, I wear my 'uniform' ever since I started my postgrad - a pair of durable jeans, t-shirts, shirts x 5 for weekdays.
A pair of shorts and a singlet for the weekend.

Favorite clothes in my closet? Don't get me started. Uh oh - too late. Here goes!

Black single breasted shawl collar Armani tux. Super 120's wool that feels like silk. Incredible drape. Suit? Donna Karan 4 button black super 100's'. Shirts? Mostly made to measure in Egyptian or Sea Island Cotton w/ french cuffs and monogrammed with my name in Chinese characters. Leather? Current fav is Faconnable goatskin suede 3/4 length coat. Like butta. Shoes? Used to be all Ferragamo - now - Merrell slides of various designs. Ugly but super comfy. Pants? a pair of Brioni slacks that I hardly wear - just too nice to wear for work.

Most common casual outfit - black jeans, Jungle slides, leather jacket...

hehe... I rather enjoy my clothes. My wife is complaining about me taking her closet space...

no Louie V in our home. wait - Mrs. Lig has a LV purse she never uses. I don't understand the fascination with that stuff either - doesn't feel good at all and doesn't really look all that good either. Just one of those status thangs, I guess.

hehe... Spanky - you're on the Big Island, right? I can't think of any time I could wear a leather jacket over there! Too broke for a Hawaii visit so we had some Loco Moco and LauLau with chili water over the weekend. Believe it or not there's some pretty good Hawaiian food here in Seattle.

My Coach money clip (buffalo) has soldiered on for 13 years now! It's tired but I can't bring myself to replace it.

Shaka brah!
