Throughout all of my PRIDE and UFC watching, the Gracies and Sakuraba have always put up a good fight, but I think Vanderlei Silva takes the cake. That insanely aggressive fighting style reminds me of watching Tyson back in the day.

I've always liked Frank Shamrock and Chuck Liddell.
Both exhibit excellent technique and power for their size.
I havent followed any of the recent events so I dont know who's been dominating the scene.

currently, for the weight divisions, matt hughes is i think the best for welterweight. i guess its because he is "gifted genetically" as he always likes to point out. i also like randy coutre, he is going to dispose of tito in the upcoming ufc 45, and the heavyweights are a revolving door division, so it is up in the air, we will see if tim silvia can put gan mcgee's lights out in this ufc coming up in september.
and u have caught the correct about wanderlei, he is a mongrel, truly devastating
go to mma.tv for all ur mma and fighting news and forums. its great

I've trained with Gil Castillo. well, that's not exactly accurate. I've had my ass completely dismantled, folded like a napkin and handed back to me by Gil Castillo.

I wish they hadn't stopped the fight when Matt Hughes accidentally headbutted him back in UFC 40 (I was there! ) at the MGM Grand in Vegas. I was there showing my support, and I think he had a chance.

Matt Hughes though is an amazing fighter, no doubt.

but my favorite fighter ever? Marco Ruas.

Oh yeah...I forgot about Ruas!
He was awesome!
Too bad he retired from the octagon after defaulting in his match against Maurice Smith. I think he tore up his knee.

The most entertaining fighters to watch are Silvia, Sakuraba, Goodridge, Igor Vorc..., Ruas. The most intimidating fighter of all time has to be Mark Kerr. That guy is built like a professional body builder. Even though he is a wrestler (not excited to watch), watching him overpowering his opponent is awesome. The cockiest fighters has to be the Gracies, although they all are very skilled. Sakuraba nick name the Gracie hunter...that's awesome. Silva fights his opponents like they rape his momma.

ELVIS "THE KING OF ROCK AND RUMBLE" coz i train with him and he's the nicest guy ever.
kicks ass altho hes still that one rung below all the top guys.
GENKI SUDO is great for viewing with his back-to-opponent stance and crazy antics
MINOTAURO is the heavy weight king, this guy got piledriven by a 350 pound gorilla and came back with an armbar to win, enuff said.
