i've never heard that expression before. what does "you got thick skin" mean?

By your "internet" behavior and actions AND by the image you portray of yourself here, you have put yourself up for tremendous ridicule. It just means that you can take a teasing or a whole bunch of mean comments and not get too bothered by them and subsequently react in an equal and opposite manner. In other words, you don't seem to take offense easily.
(OR could it be that you just don't understand what most people are saying to you or about you? - If this were the case, then the better description to use would be: dense. )
