Default Solo Japan trip Oct or Nov, assistance appreciated

I really want to just GTFO and away from all my responsibilities here and I have not taken a vacation in nearly a decade.

No alcohol/tobacco though let me know if you have a lead on psychedelics&cannabis so probably no late night stuff unless it's Touge or tripping at the beach or something. I wake around 6am sleep around 10pm.

Might be able to get 2-4 weeks off to be in Japan.

My terrible looking arbitrary plan for Japan: Acquire international drivers license for car/moto. I may want to start off in Gunma or Saitama or make that region my "base of operations" will appreciate input in somewhere more suitable.
- Temperature should be mild and seems like it's nature like with forest/hiking/sights etc. Maybe I'll sleep on the camp grounds? Hour or less from Tokyo. Has nice windy roads and supposedly home of the Initial Dee

Day/Morning may look like:Wake up, hike/wander about, I might utilize a gym or the Pon Muay Thai gym near Gunma. The rest of the day I don't know. eat,, massages, tourist stuff, improving on swimming, prostitutes? Check out some race tracks (ebisu, gunsai, tsukuba), bullet train one end to the other?

Budget: I don't need extravagant hotels/airbnb. As long as functional Shower/bathroom, sleeping on floor/tatami mat is fine, etc. motorcycle rental / honda beat car rental / public transit? May look into track day for tourist, will probably eat out for every meal, may travel light and wash/hang dry my clothes in sink/shower, camping in vehicle?

An acquaintance said I might not need more than 300k yen for 2-4 weeks?

I have a cousin that might cross path with me for a few days on their business trip/semi vacation but that's bout it, other than that it's probably solo unless I kick it off with some randos

I don't know, what do the frequent goers/experts here think?

My concern of this trip as of right now would be feeling like it was wasted $ / flight just because I want to take a vacation for the sake of it.

Thanks

Edit: might as well update. Found some cannabis near Chiba/Ikehabara and started my journey from there to hakone, fuji, 5 major fuji lakes, nagano, toyoma, kyoto, back to fuji lakes/hakone and up to gunma. Amazing time

Just saw this. Glad it worked out. I went to school in Japan as a kid (Navy brat) and went there a lot flying for an airline and Navy reserve duty.

I would have suggested Thailand for a first Asia trip but that is water under the bridge!

glad it worked out. Did you have any thoughts of moving permanently?

Thailand was highly considered, especially with legal cannabis and international friendly mauy thai camps.

Maybe not enough experience to say permanently but would love to do another long term stay around Yamanshi/Fuji/Hakone region.

I lived in Saitama , just like 20 mins north of the tokyo border for 2yrs , but its been almost 20yrs since. it was very hard to leave, and even harder to reacclimatize after returning home.
There's things you learn to love that you wish locally would be the same. I still consider japan my second home and would return in a heartbeat if i didn't have a family now.
I recently watched an amazon prime series, James May our man in japan, it was quite fun, may give you some ideas of what to do.
I miss the food the most, so many excellent choices at reasonable prices.
