I'd have to disagree with you. If it were American forces, they probably would have done the exact same thing. The French ship was attacked so naturally, they're going to defend themselves. You can't honestly say that if a US ship was boarded by dudes with AK47 AND they opened fire (with the AK's) that the Americans would get arrested. Can you? No. And thats what happened to the French. If the USN was unprovoked and opened fire...well...thats a different story all together.

 

No, what im saying is that our troops would have defended themselves. But if casualties had happened to the pirates, our liberal ass cry babies back home would have said the somalis have it rough and we abused and murdered the pirates, and the soldiers would probably face prosecution.

We just need to send our cops on those ships, then they blow away all the pirates are get paid vacation ^^

That guy who was held hostage was on all of the national news outlets and was a mini-celebrity, the seal team that killed the Somali pirates was talked about glowingly for their expertise and skill. And President Obama ordered the sniper strike to go forward. Some "liberal" namby-pambiness was that.
