Default Some crazy weather here yesterday...

Here are a few pix I took as the storm was moving away. This is part of what killed 23 people in Tenn...

P.S. I'm no photographer, well, I wish I were . Anyway, the pix were taken with a plain-old Fuji 3.0 megapixel digicam, no swapable lenses, no filters, no nothing. What you see here is really how the sky looked, I took about 150 pix 'cause I couldn't stop staring at the sky.

That's awesome. Looks like some eerie, end-of-the-world stuff going on there. Where are you located?

Pretty crazy looking. Sort of reminds me of the green skies in Nebraska when the twisters were coming around (only this looks scarier, red!)

Wow, that's amazing. I got caught under some mammatus clouds in a Cessna 172 one time trying to get back into my airport (one of FL's finest early fall thunderstorms) and I can tell you that it's not a good idea. We got rocked around pretty darn good. I looked up and these things appeared to be "bubbling" from the up and downdrafts. Luckily we got back in fine. Ended up with a 45 knot tailwind on final approach until we got lower.
