One problem with Fraud Prevention is, There really are no Classes that you can take to learn this most of it is on the job training. Or as the old saying goes. "It takes a thief to catch a thief." I have personally have had my life threated 3times from known thieves that i have caught. Plus i have started 2Federal Investagations into thieves that go into different countries.

Kind of a fun job, but you are dealing with the slime of the population. And when you make a mistake normally the customer does not understand why it happened.

I had a joker in Nigeria try to order from me with a stolen credit card number. As if I wouldn't check it out first. We put a hold on the funds then reported it to the credit card company.

Get this. The theives then call me via Sprint connection thingy and try to order again. I tell the guy if it is a stolen card, I will find out. Then he wants me to find him cell phones. What the hell is wrong with these people??? I wasn't stupid the first time, why would I be the second.

I reported the fraud to a couple of the credit reporting bureaus (you only need to inform one, and they tell the other 2, but I went ahead and reported at two of them).

it's fairly easy and straight-forward, thankfully.

I'm also going to contact my bank, as was suggested earlier.
