It's a 2002 PT cruiser. The OBDII troubleshoot code is P0601 which says, "The PCM has determinded that an Internal Memory Error has occurred.."

I know it's something with the ECU. How can I fix this. If I just reset it will it just come back? The only thing I could think of that might cause this is that I had no oil cap for a while. Could that have caused this issue? Thanks for any bit of help.
