vocabulary will keep on changing because words will keep incurring negative connotations.

i guess back in the day "special people" were called mongoloids now they're called mentally retarded sometime in the future they'll be called something else which will also incur a negative connotation and then people will move to a new name for them.

How is that word bad? Look up what it means...

Definition of Retard

it doesnt matter what word(s) you use, its how you use them. Not using one word will not stop people being disrespectful towards them.

this guy pre-typed my response and did it in 500% less space than i would have used

pick any "politically correct" term and try to define what it means...it means the same as the word that it replaces

mongoloid
slow
retarded
dufus
handicapped
handicapable
deficient


it does not matter. the only way to solve the problem is to get everyone to stop using the word "du Jour" in a negative way. Until you do that, nothing will change
