The last two nights of World Rally Championship coverage on Speed have been interrupted by NASCAR coverage. Friday night's WRC coverage started 30 minutes late and last night's coverage was actually interrupted 40 minutes into it so they could break to NASCAR news coverage for 30 minutes before showing the last 20 minutes of the WRC program.

I've already sent my feelings about this to their feedback section of their website and I urge any of you who appreciate motorsports programming other than NASCAR on speed to do the same. It's one thing to show as much NASCAR as they do, but when they start interrupting the precious little other racing they show for more NASCAR, we need to let them know they've gone too far. The worst thing is that as far as I know, there wasn't anything THAT special that happened in NASCAR yesterday that couldn't have waited 20 more minutes until the WRC program was over.

I guess I'll have to start telling my TiVo to record WRC for an extra 30 minutes so I can make sure to get all of the coverage. And people wonder why fans of other racing series hate NASCAR so much...
