Well... I also have a hard time believing that only 55 out of 100 people can read this. It was cake for me, however, I also think that being a "skimmer" has its down sides. I can't tell you how many times I misread something and have to do a double take. Most recent example that comes to mind is the thread titled: "Greatest Comedian of all time". The first 3-4 times I skimmed over it my brain processed: "Greatest Canadian of all time".


Maybe it was because "Comedian" was capitalized?.. and its almost exactly the same length?

Spelling is extremely important. My fiance's sister got passed up for a teaching job because of spelling errors in her resume. So sad to miss a job opportunity because you didn't take the time to proofread.
