spoiler?
i know that about 90 percent of the spoilers out there are pretty much for show and cosmetics, but when people actually go fast enough to utilize the downforce, my friend said something about how it has to be attached to the frame of the car? something about how if it's only mounted onto the trunk, which is a sheetmetal, it doesn't have any effect for downforce, is this true? i thought if it's attached to the trunk, it'll force air on the trunk, which then in turn forces it down on the car. thanks in advance
yes the spoiler does need to have a large area of contact on the car.
you will see on alot of pictures of the S2000 with a spoiler.... that there will be two dents where the spoiler is in contact with boot.
like this one (
you will find after some good speed you will need a new boot
