just finished watching it. i wish they hadn't left out/changed some of the details mentioned in the spoiler. i was kinda disappointed they hadn't include some of the other regular characters in the final episode, such as ross and monica's parents. a small scene with them in the hospital with monica and chandler telling monica how proud they are of her and all she's accomplished throughout the years would had been very touching. also, it was kinda sad that monica and chandler were in the hospital alone without any friends and family around. when rachel and phoebe had their babies, everyone was there. sure, i know it is not monica that was giving birth, but still, those babies are going to be their son and daughter. instead, it seemed like noone really cares. which brings up my next peeve: i think it sucked that monica and chandler ended up adopting, especially when courtney cox is pregnant during the filming in real life. they wrote jennifer aniston's and lisa kudro's pregnancies into the story, so it seems kinda unfair that they didn't write courtney cox's pregnancy into the story as well. lastly, i feel bad for joey. it seemed like everyone one else had some major change in their lives, but joey remains sideline watching with nothing new and exciting happening to him. since they are planning on doing a spinnoff with the joey character next fall, they should had wrote that into the final episode to make that the "new and big" change in joey's life. instead the show just ended with joey being joey just clinging on to his precious past.
anyway, i'm glad the show is finally over. they really were running out of ideas for the show.
