I could see that happening. With a franchise as successful as Star Wars, you'd have to be mad to leave the much money on the table.

 

There is SOOO much money to be made from Star Wars, it's insane....hell, if any of us were in Lucas' shoes, I'm sure we'd be thinking the same thing....

 

The next project Lucas is doing is a streight to DVD episode 3.5 thing...Hes going to fill in the time gap between episode 3 and 4...Theirs about a 20 year gap inbetween the two and a lot of information to tell...This is the rumor though...If its not a DVD it might be made into a tv mini series...

Anyway, who cares about 100 years before episode 3...Yeah its all interesting, but if you read the books after episode 6 is where it counts...I want to hear about the Shadows of the Empire with Dash rendar

 

He has already confirmed that he will do a tv series (much like Young Indiana Jones), and I believe he had signed on for another cartoon series (after the popularity of his Star Wars cartoon already running).

 

I think it's bs, but If I were Lucas I'd keep it going. Not only could me make more money, but people are really into the whole Star Wars saga and would love to hear more of the story.

The earlier life of Yoda would be great. The later life after Return of the Jedi would be great. I'd watch all/any of it.

 

yeah, i want to see leia and han solo's kid become the future sith lords...

 

after watching ep 3 today - i think i've had enough SW for a while.
