Where it says licensed stores:

- A qualified high volume/high traffic retail or foodservice operation can own and operate a Starbucks licensed store. Examples include: hotels and resorts, healthcare, college and university campus environments and business and industry.

Doesn't that mean they can be owned by other individuals/companies?

the "emergency retraining" is to retrain their stores to create the exact same beverages store to store so they dont vary in taste and all that good stuff.

I think this is a provision for Barnes and Noble, et. al. to have Starbucks in their stores.
