I worked with a guy who lost his life savings AND went bankrupt trying to open a shoe show. Here in ATL you have to have a current lease on your unit to be considered for a liquor license. Apparently there is a LOT of red tape to sell booze in that particular environment. He stayed open for less than a year and had quite a battle to sell booze, which never happened/led to the demise.

I remember he said he could have easily opened a bar, but the combo of girls + booze was more difficult for some reason. Make sure to look into that caveat if you give it a go.

Give it a good name like Pussy's or something.

Your logo could be like a shaved cat or something.

[QUOTE=kntrider,Sep 28 2009, 08:40 AM] You do know that Dallas has more strip clubs than churches right?

hm, wonder if it'd be better to start off with an all-nude BYOB place...

assume your girls pay you for the privilege of dancing at your place. you have to compete with all the other clubs to get hotties, so you can't charge them *that* much. Even if you charge cover at the door, that sounds to me like fairly minimal profits. with no alcohol...
