milkbubble- what company do you work for that gives 40hr guarantee if you don't mind me asking, and how long have you been there? Honda?
BMW in Bloomfield NJ.. I been there for about a year now. 6 months of that was spent in the STEP program which the dealer paid for. I went to class from 6am to 1pm then worked from 130 to 6pm. My commute was 40 min to class in the morning and then 1.5- 2 hours from the dealer to my house.. Gotta love NJ/NYC traffic.

Should have never started with Chrysler to begin with.

I couldn't sell their cars and still sleep at night.

Nissan. It's take you no time to learn the new line up.

niice...i applied at princeton bmw to no avail but it's all good...That's cool they sent you to STEP and paid for it too and yea, traffics getting worse and worse all the time, it sux.

^ you mean couldn't* sleep at night if you sold their cars ?? lol

In hindsight, I can see your right that I shouldn't have started with Chrysler, but I decided not to go to a UTI/Wyotech school for $30k when I probably spent less than $10k for the community college tech school around here.. I got an associates degree in auto technology and took some regular gen ed. classes too at the same time, so I'm not sweatin it. If all goes well tomorrow morning than I'll hopefully be putting my 2 weeks in when I get to work.

A technician and a dealership must be certified by Nissan to even touch the new GT-R. From what I've read, you cant even change brake pads on that thing without buying a specialty tool straight from Nissan.

ya, its not so bad. This is what went down this morning:

After justifying going to Nissan after turning it down the day before, I went to Nissan at 8am this morning to see if he'd still hire me..Turns out he hired 1 person right before me, which I saw, then after I came in and turned it down, he hired someone else!! AHHHHHHH ;( so I gotta call him tomorrow and see what's up because he's going to check the scheduling to see if he can fit me in as well. As for benefits, didn't discuss it yet, so i'll see whats up if he takes me on.

I felt so frickin bummed at work today too, but ended up leaving at 1 and retiming my mitsubishi diamante after throwing a new head on the car...All smooth except it ran rough cuz I found out I got a bad coil so it's running on 4 cylinders. I'll fix it tomorrow and see if I got the job, that'd make my day.
