Default Sticking on sidemarkers

I was wondering has anyone tried sticking their sidemarkers on permanently via super glue or any other strong adhesive??

yep. works fine. just be careful and use a tiny, tiny bit of superglue. otherwise, you might have a small streak on your side panel where gravity did its thing.

I think this would make it a lot more difficult to change a bulb if you had to.

so people don't steal them...or at least the situation would be more difficult for thieves because it would require additional effort...I was thinking of the same possible problem but trust me , the costs to fix and repair sidemarkers are appalling....if anything, I'll probably put enough superglue to stick them on so that it'll take some effort for the sidemarkers to detach..

what if they used a screwdriver to pry open the sidemarkers and in the process causing damage to the car. Would you still be ok with this?

Funny story...one time, I went into a supermarket, then when I came out, I found a couple of teenagers "admiring" my sidemarkers really closely. I asked them what they were doing, and they said they were just admiring them. I told them: "Yeah, right! Beat it!" I couldn't believe people still steal sidemarkers these days. It used to be popular, like stealing fog lights, but these days?

Well just recently my sidemarkers were stolen, and I thought the costs of replacing them would be somewhere in the $40-$80 range. I went to the local Honda dealership where I received my car and two other repair shops just to have it inspected. Now let me break it down to all of you guys who think it might be ok just to replace it.

1) $40 for just the sidemarker covers (bulb not included)
2) An additional $50 for the bulbs and the "pigtail" that was removed
3) Since the sidemarkers were removed, my front left turn signal does not work and my left rear signal hyperblinks.
4) The parts aren't as much as the labor. Now to properly fix my lights, they would have to remove the front fender and install all the miniscule items
5) Labor =$250+
6) Grand Total = $300

Maybe you guys are going to suggest that I install the sidemarker covers just for show. I can do that, yet there is another risk. Hyperblinkers are illegal here in California, and all your turn signals must work properly. That's just calling out a "fix it" ticket.

For now everytime I see a black and white, I roll down my window and stick out my left arm in order to signal a left turn.
