im about to go into the stock world. bout to dump 500 on stocks. this is free money im going to put down the drain. i won't feel any pain if i lose it.

just wondering what kind of your you guys are currently holding and if you're losing or gaining money from it

Anything worthwhile will not net you much with $500 (10-shares of a stocks that I would reco)... (remember the broker's commission fee too). Guess you'll be trading next to penny stocks with that money.

IMO, unless you had more capital for real investments, I would go to Reno or the local Indian casino. Your odds for returns are much greater (than they are with penny stocks). You're in the BA, Cache Creek or one of the many new ones (Indian casinos) opening daily.
