STOOK v. Girlfriend (or Boyfriend)
So, how many of you have problems with the girlfriend, or boyfriend, signficant other, spouse..... when it comes to the stook?
Let's be honest. It was easy for me and my boyfriend largely because he liked the car too (and yeah...that's past tense but for reasons unrelated to the stook). But, I know it can be a problem for some people - I have a couple of friends who have girlfriends that think they spend too much time on car-related things. Anyone else????

Being single allows one to spend money and time on their S2 without guilt. Sweeeet
I don't think a girlfriend or a wife wants to hear that you just blew $5k on car parts instead of buying her jewelry or clothes.

It happens on occasions. For instance: there's the "you love your car more than me" or "you miss your car more than me" or the "you spend more money on your car then me".
My g/f is far away from me. I tell her that my S2000 is a substitute for her while she's away.
I just tell her, well at least i'm at home driving around with my car hanging out with my car friends (cruise around, talking about cars, hang out at starbucks) instead of going out with my other friends to the clubs/bars to look for hoochie mommas
.
But that theory goes away when you hang around with your car friends and you come across a fine lady at starbucks.

j/kshe hates the X-frame which makes less room inside, how much i paid for that Jap car (n not a european roadster like TT, boxster...etc), trunk space, cheap soft top,,,,etc.
Also, I'm not sure about u guys, I LOVE driving by myself since i can do whatever i want. I enjoy friends sitting sides n telling me how TIGHT the seat is(although they were complaining, but I love hearing this, coz it's a very sporty roadster, heehee).
