Thought I'd share my Tuesday with you guys. I get into work around 9, first thing I find out is that I'm getting a 5% raise. Not a ton, but more than most get around here. Next, I get a call back on a job that I really like in St. Louis. They want an interview. Then at 4pm I get a notification that I have an interview scheduled for Weds. afternoon for the Digital Design job I had applied for a month ago at my current employer. So, I had my interview yesterday and all went pretty well....I think. It was four interviewers, one at a time, each 30 minutes. Three of them asked technical questions that they said people seldom get right, and I answered them all. Now I have the HR portion of the interview in 30 minutes.

Plus, last Friday I had a phone interview with HR from Lockheed.

So, I guess if none of these other jobs work out I at least got a raise out of the deal.

Sounds like a fun day. What do you do? Engineer? IT? Programming?

 

sounds like EE to me.. I'm about to start looking for another job.. I hope it goes that well for me

 

I'm a EE. I just went over the benefits with the HR lady and good lord there are a ton! I'm currently a contractor and I pay around $300 every two weeks for me and the wife! If I get this job it will save me $200 every two weeks, plus better coverage.
