Industrial-strength antibiotics, high-test cough suppressant, three-months-worth of Jasmine and gunpowder tea in a week and, you guessed it, chicken soup.

Actually it's more likely pustules.

Hope you have a quick recovery.

The sickest I've been in my life was when I got Strep the last week of HS my senior year. I ended up missing finals because of it. That part wasn't so bad.

I have had strep throat at least fifteen times in my life. Most people who get it a lot early in life like I did grow out of it (but seem to be more suceptable to the "Flesh eating" strep than others).

For me, bend over, drop pants, long acting penicllian shot in buttocks, feel better the next day.

They tried to give me oral anti-biotics once(keflex), I only got sicker and almost needed hospitalization.

How about strep throat + tonsillitis? I feel for you. Get better.

How about strep throat the day after you get 4 impacted wisdom teeth ripped out of your mouth? This happened last week for me =(

Btw, you MUST finish the 10 day dose of penecilin. If you dont you run the risk of the bacteria growing on your heart valves...this will lead to future heart problems (info was relayed to my by my fiance who is a doctor).
