i think beating a guy for giving you the bird has to be unconstitutional.

there was an article in R&T or C&D a long time ago about a married couple in California who flipped off a police helicopter that was watching them barbecue in their back yard. they got arrested, but sued the police dept. for violating their First Amendment rights and won. i wouldn't be surprised if that cop got suspended... unless it happened in the south.

It has to be fake...there's no way flipping someone the bird would warrant a beating like that. Besides, that cop seemed to stop for the guy...a cop under regular circumstances probably would have continued to walk into the building.

That's crazy! The cop of course probably feared the worst and let his emotions take the best of him. . .
