Both suck. I guess they are cool if you want to look like every other person in your highschool.

I prefer Abercrombie, I think American Eagle just looks cheap, Do i wear either one? no. My g/f does, I buy her clothes sometimes that's where my opinion comes from. Personally I'll won't pay for the stuff they have in their stores, i mean $50 for shorts!?!?!?! when i can get the same thing at Kohl's or something like that. For my g/f it's cool but for me, no.

I am the farthest thing from a consumer whore I think you will find. But I used to get all my jeans from Abercrombie (and actually before that from American Eagle).

I like the thickness of A&F jeans, and am willing to pay the extra cost for that. I also like the fit.

But as of late both companies make thier jeans too trendy. I couldn't find a pair at A&F that wasn't marred or torn. I got my last pair at Express.

seriously, wht difference does it make? Are you going to buy pink & tan loafers from Abercrombie, but not AE, based on the results? If you are so concerned about the label, you just buy whichever is more expensive, 'kay?

Agreed.

But Abercrombie is overpriced, and it always has been. It seems to get worse each year. I was told they have a pair of jeans that cost $200 now? WTF?

I buy a variety anymore. I went through those phases where I would only get one brand....but trendiness fades after exiting college.

Is Abercrombie still around? Wow. I remember when they made good clothes... back in 1996.
