Is Abercrombie still around? Wow. I remember when they made good clothes... back in 1996.
Oh yeah...they were really popular my first two years of college...1998-1999. I see some of their clothes around, but not as much as I did about 5-7 years ago.

[QUOTE=FearlessFife,Nov 2 2005, 09:39 PM] Agreed.

But Abercrombie is overpriced, and it always has been.

I buy tshirts and the occasional sweater or hat from abercrombie and American Eagle, but i'd never buy their jeans.

They both suck my left nut. If I wanted to walk around looking like a irresponsible kid without a job, I'd go with goodwill jeans a razor blade and a pen. Somehow I don't think you're getting a lot of women checking you out when you wear stuff that makes you look like you don't have a job.

seriously, wht difference does it make? Are you going to buy pink & tan loafers from Abercrombie, but not AE, based on the results? If you are so concerned about the label, you just buy whichever is more expensive, 'kay?
Hence it's a stupid poll. I see both brands doing pretty well here in SF. I could care less but just wanted to see what people like if they had to choose the two...

I got some good jeans just a couple of weeks ago. Let me find a link... they're the best ever.

Observe the writing on the right side. Simply perfect design

The following are $198::: each

However I do not like them
Are you ****ing serious?

But seriously, anyone who is looking for "quality jeans" should stay far, far away from anything touched by abercrombie, express, gap, hollister, ect ect. If you think those are good jeans you have never had a pair of Levi's.

I hate to sound old, and horrible untrendy, as I am in college and not - but I have seen the light. Being as "worn" jeans are in fashion, I buy old levis that are well broken is, but not torn, at thrift stores for 3 bucks. They fit the vintage bit because they ARE vintage, and the are a jean of great quality. They are thick and have great stitching and tons of different cuts. My dad has 10 or more pairs of Levis he has been wearing for 15 years.
