One of the biggest factors is usage. . .

If you're looking for a dragster, then high miles on a Supra isn't truly an issue. . .
Rebuilt Supras can earn anywhere between $20K and $30K+ once completed. . . However, you could also buy Civic Si & modify it, all for less than the cost of an S2K or a completely re-done Supra & have similar performance. . .

However, if exclusivity is your desire, then get the S2K. . . Even my friend with the Supra likes the look of the S2000 (especially in spa yellow), and I know that at the end of the day, I'm not going to worry about not being able to beat a Supra in a drag race (two different cars with different purposes). . .

Nah, I never was interested in a Supra TT. Certainly, they're nice cars, but they just don't appeal to me enough to want to own one. Before I got the stook, I was looking at the used NSX market.

I wanted a Supra TT badly, but I decided to go with what I could buy new. What few used Supra TTs you could find in my area had been ridden very hard indeed, and they still asked a bundle for them. I am happy with my purchase of a S2000, though, because I'm more about fast, stylish cars that retain reliability as opposed to really fast cars with potential issues. Just mah two cents.

I would second that.
Both of those are beautiful cars.
I can't really say I like S2000 any more than the 300zx or the Supra.
I was looking for those 2 cars....but my wife really didn't want me to buy a used car.
Besides, they aren't conertibles

I think the Supra TT is a great car. But i rather get the 93-95 Mazda RX-7. Drag racing/HP wise, it's as good as the Supra and have a great potential for mods. As for autocross, it's as good as the S or even better. Handling is superrrr. The car's characteristic is very similar to the S. The problem here is the rotary engine. Hard to mantain, and the 7's coolant system is not that great either. But like many other car. If you know how to tame it, it will runs as good/long as any honda civic out there. It's smart to ask for an extended warranty if ones deciding to purchase one.
I got a black 94rx7 for 2 years now with no major problem, just a coolant leak at 32K.

Not sure if this is true, but I was talking to a British Fellow last week and he said that Toyota stills makes the Supra TT for sale in England. The guy said they are a huge success in England and they get alot of respect from the normally snobish euros. ???

I love my stook. but supra tt can have the stook for lunch. back in 97, i almost bought a brand new tt. my friend had it and we had a lot of fun racing with the big guns like 911s and m3s. but there is no substitute for a kick a$$ rag top.
